Looks good! If you want to go all out talk to IND about blue seat belts.

You did! I was going to put my summer wheels/tires back on tomorrow - looks like I will have to wait. Thanks a lot!!!

I guess I owe you a drink if you get to SYR. I can also summon diarrhetic seagulls with the same special power . I'm probably going to wait another couple of weeks to switch mine over - I'm more than done with the 'white rain'.

Looks great, miss my MG!

What bulbs did you use? Mine from Bimmian have started to yellow a bit.

Ahh gotcha, and yea if I didn't get a great deal on the CPO I would have most likely gone with Mineral White, it's absolutely beautiful on these cars with all of the M bits.

On another note, today the car is one step closer to FBO status,

Dinan springs/bumps w/ M4 LCA's as well..

I went with Bimmian too. I'll let you know how mine hold up.

I have 2016 Estoril 228ix with M sport. I have a great graphics business nearby who did a awesome job of installing carbon fiber decals on my 03 Rubicon (Hood, front fenders) Looked like CF. I was thinking of putting some CF decals on the front only of my ride. I don't want to overdo it, maybe the lower ducts and across the lower lip. Do you think it would look cheesy.

How did you do this? DIY? Nice work! Very interested if it't not too difficult and expensive!

Cost was $5 for a spool of blue thread and a few curved needles (they look like semicircles, it really helps compared to a straight needle. Got both at Michael's), it's just really time intensive. Probably took 15 hours for the driver's seat alone. I've done the shift boot, and E brake, and part of the steering wheel since. I can post pictures later.

If you look at the original stitching, you'll see the part of the existing thread that is on top of the seat, and then goes under and then back over again. I just wrapped the blue thread under the exposed sections of original black thread. Weaving on top of the seat without trying to restitch the existing thread. Let me know if that makes sense, I can post a picture example later, too, if you want one.

Wow, that sounds time consuming. Example pictures would be awesome if you have them!

Looks amazing though!

Here's a few up close shots, as well as what else I've done. I'd recommend trying a rear headrest first, since you can easily take it out and sit somewhere comfortable to work on it

Holy crap... you must have some patience to do that...

BTW, as much as I hate the red stitching, I kind of like the blue. I saw it in a car at the dealership.

That's crazy cool that you've done that all yourself.

Post this up in the DIY section. This needs its own thread...no pun intended!
