Is there an M435i?

I spotted a nice looking Mineral Grey 4-series 2-door coupe today. As I was following it out of the parking lot, I noticed that the logo on the trunk lid was, "M435i." I didn't know such a model existed.

Nah. Maybe he got the mppk and feels entitled to the same badge as we get stock.

These are the two cars I test drove before settling on the M235i. 435 / m235. Somehow I felt 20 years older in the 435.

There's a 435i ZHP that's supposed to be the successor of the E46 330i ZHP which was one of the best cars BMW has ever made. Perhaps you saw that?

I have a 228i. Last week I went to a BMW driving event and got to drive the 435 and 428 on an Autocross course for a number of laps. It was like driving a tank compared to the 2. I also got to drive the 328 and i3 on the same course and both were move fun to drive than the 4. Amazingly, I really enjoyed driving the i3, handles much better than it looks.

I spotted an M6 that the owner affixed another M6 badge on the left rear opposite the one it came OE with. To each their own. It's cool. Whatever floats their boat after all....it's their whip. C'est la vie!

The ZHP is like 1 of 100 or 200 I forget so the odds of him seeing that is slim to none. It also does not carry any different or specific badging. Of course you could always purchase ///M badges which would be just as ridiculous as putting the ///M badge on the M235

Ya know, the standard font used for BMW model badges differs significantly from the font used for M-designated models. The former is more elongated and has a distinct slant compared to the latter.

I'm willing to bet the owner simply stuck an ///M in front of the standard-font 435i, not realizing that because of the font difference, the whole set -- even the 'i' -- would need to be replaced for it to look legit.

So his little custom detail basically makes his car look like a bloated kernel of German rice to anyone who actually knows (and, frankly, cares). Bwaaaa-hahaha!

Ouch but
I'd love for the ZHP concept to take root again at BMW. I'd be all over a 230i ZHP when the LCI comes.

I saw an "M" 335i the other day on the highway. And really nice M3 a couple months back that had two tail pipes left side only. Aka 328 haha

Like some of the other guys said though maybe it was tuned and they felt like putting the badge on.
