Gift from BMW

I bought my 135i new, and received the thumb drive, but I also got a concept car art print of the 1 series. I later received the pen.

Has anyone gotten a print with their 2 series? I am taking delivery of mine in a few days and it would be awesome to get the concept art for that too.

I bought my 235 in May 2014, but no art yet, although I did receive the ink pen last week. This is the first BMW (my 4th) that, as of yet, I have not received the print. I received a print and pen after buying my 2010 E93, but like this time, both were delivered well after a year of ownership had passed.... And each came at a different time.

I suspect that's intentional, giving BMW a reason to "touch" it's customer base multiple times after purchase.

I too just received my pen this weekend. I would not have cared if they didn't send it but this thing is nice! I'd love to also receive an art piece..

I got a really nice Harmon/Kardon Bluetooth speaker at BMW Welt. They had a limited number they were giving out to people who ordered the H/K upgrade. Also got a $50 gas card from the BMW Genius at the dealership.

I'm hoping they do the concept drawings for the 2 like I got for my 3, would love to have another one framed on my office wall.

I received my pen today. Pretty nifty.

This is the second gift I've received since I bought my car in May, 2014. The first "gift" was the so-called Encore Delivery, where I was invited to return with my car and get a complete, new presentation. I particularly enjoyed this because the lady who went over my car again and answered my questions was really, really cute.

No you don't. The USB drive is all but unusuable because it weighs so damned much. (It's USB 2.0, too, which means it's an old design as well.)

Well, in fairness, my current USB key I currently carry is 128mb. Enough for the few excel spreadsheets I need to put on there that are too big to email.

Hah! I just threw away an old 256MB drive that dated from ... sheesh ... 2007?

The BMW drive is cast metal, the weight of which puts too much strain on the interface if inserted horizontally. That, and it just looks like something you'd get as a prize from Chuck E Cheese. Not quality at all.

It is online only, and they don't mail as far as I know.

Not as nice as the Cross BMW pen and pencil set I got over ten years ago.

I also got the 1 series art back in 08-9 and framed it, looks nice.
