I found how to fix the low aiming issue. There are adjustment hole that can raise the headlights. Takes 1 min to do. Turn counterclock wise to raise it. I did one full turn and the made a load of a difference. So, be careful not to over turn it.

Interesting, are the holes easily accessible? Are they somewhere under the hood or under the lights themselves?

It's easy, open the hood, look around the headlight area for a round hole in the body, you'll see a white plastic screw. Very easy to get to, I'll try to get take a picture tomorrow when it's light out.

is this a 228i or m235i? I just looked at my m235i and don't see the same adjustment screw. Or is it NON xenon headlights?
