Congrats on the new car! I love the new darker wheel color and that estoril blue looks amazing. I also have the auto ZF8 and love it. Im one of those select few on the forum that seems to prefer the auto and can't imagine how good the dct drives.

I'm picking up an EBII/CR M235i with orbit grey wheels next month in Munich, so it's great to see pics of this specific combo. Thanks for sharing!

The darker wheels make the silver mirror caps stand out even more - I wish they'd provided caps matched to the rims.

Congrats! Love it! I don't know if its the way the lighting is but the wheels don't look as darker as I thought they were going to look compared to other photos I've seen..

Best looking EB I have seen to date. The darker wheels do it justice. I kinda dig the superman scheme as well. These pics do show why I do not like the all weather mats. You will always have dusty footprints. Carpet mats the dust does not show as much. You just have to do a quick vac or shake.

Looks awesome! Thanks for the pics. Like everyone else mentioned, these orbit grey rims look lighter than the ones on a mineral white m235i on another thread. Should be interesting to see what they look like in person. I pickup my Alpine White Red interior with orbit grey rims next week ED in Munich! Seeing this makes this last week seem even longer!

Thanks everyone, FYI these photos have not been touched up or enhanced in any way. This car doesn't need any filters or photography magic to look spectacular

I agree, they're almost like an eye sore to me haha. I definitely plan on getting carbon fiber mirror caps at some point to give it a cleaner look.

The Orbit Grey truly is a dark grey, although in dim light it looks nearly black. I would highly recommend getting the black kidney grilles for anyone considering this wheel color, they go great together!

Some initial impressions thus far:

I got the car one week ago and have already logged nearly 400 miles (picked up from a dealership located about two hundred miles away). I can't get enough of it! This car is just TOO quick, I've caught myself doing 90+ on the freeway without even realizing it until I notice all the other cars I've flown by....

In-town driving is also a treat. So much low end torque. The best word to describe the exhaust sound is "intoxicating". I take a couple round a bouts to and from work, it's so much fun to just whip the car around them. It's funny how other dudes seemed to get "threatened" by this car and try to goad me into a 2fast2furious-style race. I've been receiving compliments everywhere I go (filling up at the gas station, Starbucks drive-through, cop working a parking garage). Most have never heard/seen of a M235i ("Is that a 3 series?")

I could not be happier with this car. The only thing that I'm still trying to adjust to is the gear shifter: push forward for reverse and pull back for drive...my brain finds this counter-intuitive. I'm curious if there is a reason for this design?

Wow this looks good! I picked the same color combo with orbit grey wheels and some port installed accessories. Definitely gives me a good idea of what mine will look like within the next month. Thanks for posting

The pics make it look like you have an aluminum door pull on the driver's door...but the rest of the trim is fineline stream. Is that the case?

Yep, it's the fineline stream wood trim with "oxide silver matte accent".

Interesting choice for the wood trim! Looks good! & yes, it did seem counter-intuitive too when I bought a new 3 for my parents, but like with anything new you're learning--everything is counter-intuitive.

PM me if your dealer can't help you in replacing that single piece of trim. I might be able to get you the piece you need.
