Post the slip and it will tell all. That M235 looked like it had a .1-.2 second slower reaction time, Visually it can make things appear a lot worse than reality. Time slips tell all.

Yeah, I've seen plenty of his videos. I'm just curious to see the slips because from what I can tell from the YouTube vids, he never posts a slip. Reaction time, 60 foot, ET, and mph tell all. When I spent my years at the strip, I beat tons of cars way quicker than mine to the finish. The fact of the matter is most people in street cars at the strip absolutely suck at driving. Everyone thinks they're John Force until they get that first slip. LOL

It's all in the trap speed! Lol'd at the poor guy in the MT. As much as I love my MT, I'd definitely want an xdrive 8AT banger for drag racing, it's so consistent and fast. And that launch control... For all other reasons I love MT's moaR!

A $300 set of slicks will net a 6MT an easy upper 1.7 60 foot. The mags have consistently tested the 6MT to 13.4s@107mph with apparent 60 foots in the 2.1 range (based on reported 0-30mph) times. Shedding .3-.4 seconds in 60 foot will net a .5 to .7 second improvement in ET. MPH won't really improve. Lastly, it's been my personal experience that with a decent driver and good DA conditions, you can beat mag times by .2 to .3 seconds and 2 to 3 mph. At least in my own cars have (no mods, stock tires). There's no doubt in my mind that a M235 6mt with slicks should go mid to upper 12s at 107-110mph stock. If you run at a wonder track like E-town, HRP, or Atco, you can expect to go even quicker, especially in the fall and winter.
