Vehicle Being Transported to Port Of Exit

I woke up this morning and called the 1800 # I knew today was the estimated day that production ended on my car and when I called the number I got the message that the car was being transported to port of exit.

I ordered the car on Aug 16
Production started Sept 1
Production Ended Sept 10 (I believe)
And today September 10 the car is being transported

One more day closer to getting behind the wheel of my brand new car!

Neat, you should be able to track your car as it crosses the Atlantic soon.

Finished production on 9/3, got the same "transport" message last night. Better hurry up and catch a ship this week!

How exactly do we track the ships? First time ever ordering a car.

I've been using bmw USA to track and also calling the 1800 number. All you need is the production order number and they'll be able to give you more information.

I've been doing that I was referring to iirc some members show screen shots of the boat and a visual of the tracking across the ocean. Not sure if that was from the bmw website or if there is another form of tracking site that they use.

Once your car is built you can get the vin from your CA and type it into the website above my post it'll tell you the ship your car is on and where it is and what port it's going to

just got an email from my CA with my VIN, it's official my car is born and ready to go. Very happy tonight

Mine just left a few days ago as well. Anyone else on the Boheme? Now the long wait until it arrives in CA on Oct. 4th.

I don't know what ship mine is on yet, I just got my VIN a few hours ago and I think it's still be transported to the docks currently. I can't wait to find out my ship and start tracking it. I'm in NY so any ship that goes to the East Coast around the first week of October will the ship mine is on.

Update for today: vehicle production is complete and is waiting to be released to the carrier. I went from hearing the same update message for weekes to getting new information fast and pretty much over night. The car should be on a ship very soon and in my driveway be the beginning of October. It can't get here soon enough.
