Yes, ive seen this. Using a different "fresh" device like a phone will give cheaper prices sometimes.

This is a better idea. You might as well enjoy the process (and have some food and drink on BMW's tab).
FYI: my check in time was 0805, delivery time 0940 to ~1020, so if definitely takes a little time.

That's a cool idea for ED, actually, especially for the winter like you said. Take delivery, leave the car there, vacation in Europe for a few days, head home.

I know the OP wants to avoid taking vacation time, but you never know about flight delays, etc. Might be best to at least have a plan for a one-night stay just in case.

Do it on a long weekend or take one day off so you can at least spend one night to rest / relax in Munich and take your time at the welt. There's your compromise
