So I am looking at sport line as it's mechanically no different than the m-sport and I want midnight blue on oyster with maybe the wood trim. the question is can I get the regular sport steering wheel without the damn red stitching? I don't understand why they force red stitching on the wheel if you don't have the black/red or red seats and/or the red dash trim.

edit: second question...can I get body colored mirror caps as well?

Get the M Sport steering wheel. And order painted mirror caps online.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that the M sport had open air dams in leu of fog lights

M sport and base do. Sport line has black caps.

I meant ordering from factory. if the car were like the 320i where they give you the m sport wheel in the sport pack that'd be great.
