Béhème the Remus uses RC module, like ActiveAutowerke uses Speed-Buster Module but has their own tune software more info can be found in their Thread really good tune just a little late in the game folks are now heading Real Software Tune per BR-Performance affiliated friends/network dealers in the USA.

in the N20 engine, Racechip comes stock at 2-3 psi over stock and I've seen it at even 5 psi over stock in the more aggressive settings which would be appropriate for those with mods, as I tested in my stock car for a few days in the cold winter wouldnt dare to do so now in the spring as climate is getting warmer thus vehicle requiring better cooling and parts getting hotter, another tip is I only used Shell/Valero 93 octane in those aggressive testing, i would not touch lower quality (cheaper gas) even if its 93 octane like lets say BP here because i've gotten a lot of jerky feel with BP

Hopefully Delnari chaddy74 can chime in on more aggressive settings in the RC to see how much boost it can achieve. I think AlexGT will do too since hes fully modded now

Rob, I may try another setting (I'm still using the default setup) on my RC but I'm not sure I will have any noticeable changes do to the fuel we use in Guatemala and the altitude of my city (4,900 ft / 1,500mts).

I do feel the car is way faster and aggressive (more torque), but the only time I took my car to sea level, I was amazed about how faster the car was, for sure the altitude has something to do here.

No rush take it slow especially with 91 octane, dont hesitate in emailing racechip germany & racechip usa to see what they suggest on setting with lower octane.
Do you have any Race Fuel or Torco Octane Accelerator ?

La Paz is the worst!! You can hardly breathe there!!

I would like to know how much in numbers, does the altitude affect a car's performance. You're good with numbers pikcachu, any ideas?

At least you have a turbo ... only half the loss...

BTW I think forced induc is getting way more efficient now days,
I'm sure the losses will be a % or 2 less now than older turbos

There is an optional usb cable that you can connect the JB stage 1 to increase it

The new BMS Stage1 (came out maybe three months ago?) runs 3psi by default but can be increased up to +6psi using a special setting and map3.

The JB4 does not run an additive system. It runs an absolute system. Map1 can make anywhere from 0 to 10psi more than the factory tuning depending on several factors like oil temp, pedal input, RPM, EGT, gear, etc, etc.

This is news to me. I purchased by BMS Stage 1 in November so do I not have the option to increase then?

I would love to get another .75 PSI out of the car. Thanks.

You can with the newer system (the one that comes with only two plugs and says G3_V2 on the circuit board), but to enable your setting you also need to select map 3. The newer Stage1 uses the JB4 interface while the older one used the old Stage1 interface.

Do you think they would do a swap for the V2? I feel like I got ripped off now.

I got my bms stage 1 back in Sept 14 and picked up the usb connection in January. The interface I used is actually jb3 and sent to me by bms. Once I got everything hooked up, the default setting was 3.5 and I bumped it to 4.25. I didn't want to go too crazy since it doesn't have the same safety nets and connections the jb4 has.

Mike
Mike, would you be willing to increase the boost of the new BMS Stage 1 unit to +4psi, before shipping, if I purchased it from you?

This approach could possibly be the best stage 1 tune!!!

I could order one in that way. But I think It's best to have the BMS DATA cable so you can change the boost level or map yourself. It's a pretty easy process.

I responded to your pm as well.
