I might opt for a stage 1 or 2 if I'll get decent performance gains on top of a bms stage 1 tune which I already own.

Really don't want to deal with extra cost, wire tapping and extra install/uninstall hassle of jb4.

It wont net you any gains with bms stage1. Get the jb4 stage2.

I am still finetuning the turbo but here is what it does on 20-21 psi boost.

That would make a 7.9 60-130 time

Here is a vid of my car from 40 mph into the car's speed limiter.
It was only 30F ambient this morning. With more grip I could apply WOT a bit faster. But you can see she is pushing fast.

Fuel = E15 + meth
Boost = 18-19 psi

I have my car booked April 7th to get the speed limiter removed

Holy Moly !

What about 'turbogat' on this stage 2, compared to stage 1, and compared to stock ?

And who in Belgium can install these Pure stage 1/2 upgrades?

You've got stage 2 for a couple of weeks now. Ran into any problems ?

Thanks for feedback.

Turbogat? Pretty non existant Both stage1 and stage2 options have more torque over the whole rev range than stock turbo.

Stage1 makes max torque at 3k rpm. For stage2 max torque is around 4k rpm. If you want you can even increase torque to around 4.8k rpm but it depends how you prefer to drive the car and how far you want to go. Stage 2 really has a nasty topend power. You have to sit in the car to feel it lol.

My install was done at PSG in Geel. Great service, good price etc etc. They know their stuff.

I ran stage1 turbo for 20000+ km without issue. Now stage2 is on the car for 1500km also no issues whatsoever.

Tuning wise I am just running JB4 with a lowered ign adv curve on stock flash with limiter removed (tnx BR-Performance for making this happen).

Darkhold,

I am thinking about Pure stage 2, what is the minimum fuel requirements I would have to do if I only wanted to run max of 18 PSI boost? Really don't wnat to go to Meth kit or LPFP.

On just 93, timing wise the car is happy at 16 psi. Maybe you can try 17 psi as well. To have good timings you would need around E20/93 mix to do 18 psi. But you will have to see if your HPFP can do this.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for all the interest and positive feedback!

Recently we have received a lot of inquiries asking if our PURE Stage 2 turbo is available for late model cars with the electronic wastegate.

It absolutely is available! We have it available for all late model cars. m235i, 435i, 535i, etc...

In fact these late model cars seem to make even more power than the e-series. If you haven't already seen it, here's our late model EWG turbo results from the BMS 435i, 536WHP!!! :

Thank you!
