Upgrade Clutch (6spd)?

Hi all. Any experience out there with upgrading the clutch on the 6 speed for an M235i? Considering going with a stage 2 PURE turbo upgrade and I am hearing that might be necessary. Thoughts? Prices?

Personally from my experiences with clutches and single mass flywheels on modern cars, if I was you I would go ahead with the turbo upgrade and only upgrade the clutch once it starts to slip. Still doesn't mean you can't research. I had a big turbo 2011 GTI before the m235i and went through 3 clutches. 2 southbend kits that blew up and chattered like crazy. I will never buy a southbend clutch again. then I finally did a oem upgrade that turned out to be the most reliable but it had a dual mass flywheel. I pieced together a ttrs disk and pressure plate with a oem flywheel. That's the route I would look into first if I had to do it again with this car, if a m3 or 4 pressure plate and disk fits I would try that.

It's also so hard to find out what torque level the oem clutches are rated too. We might be good you never know...

Just came to me a m2 clutch would probably be stronger than ours too. When that gets here that's a option that should fit but you never know until somebody is brave enough to try haha

I'll probably stay stock until necessary like you said. Also I don't plan to run meth so the numbers others are seeing over 500 are likely way off from where I'll be.

I think that's the best way to go about it. I would still research around a bit to see what's out there just in case
