I'm in as well. Just have to decide on the color, LBB or AW.
I've had a $1k deposit down for 3 months now. When will Chris Harris get his hands on the car? I would love to watch some reviews on it! |

Yeah, I'm definitely in at this point. This morning I was wavering because the "leaks" didn't give me a warm and fuzzy, but after the press release, photos, and specs, I feel confident about taking that #2 spot at my dealership. Also, I think I'm back on board with LBB. I saw some close ups and the metallic paint looks fantastic. My CA told me that as soon as he can find an LBB car in person, he will call me so I can se it in person (Not sure if he was referring to an X-Series vehicle or what....).

I've had my deposit in since July for #1 spot.. So worth the wait. I think the car will be delivered perfect timing especially for us in the north east. The car would just sit in the garage when it snows.

I'll take one as soon as (if) it comes out as a convertible. The close up picture of the LBB is lovely - much better than I expected.

Pricing and seeing it in person will be the deciding factors.
If it is close, I think I will jump up to the M3 now. My gut feeling is that it isn't that "special" like the M3/M4 are in looks and mystique. Of course, those are the thoughts from some pics only. Seats look greasy and right outta the normal 235. Pep boys style side vents that appear NON-functioning. ABSOLUTE HORSESHIT! no M mirrors. wow, same brake caliper color from the F8x. Wow...thoughtful! I am really surprised that it has quad exhaust with how little they did to differentiate from the 235.. Stupid black wheels. Are these the exact wheels from the F8x? Why not offer the silver ones too? Or just didn't want to pay designers to come up with new wheels. Or maybe they fired too many designers because of the M4 GTS wheels that they had to take what they had on the shelf. I am actually a little pissed.

Still debating between the M2 and the Corvette. The M2 looks much better than I thought it would. Seeing today's pics moved me from about 80% C7 / 20% M2 to around 60% C7 / 40% M2.
Will need a test drive to really make up my mind... |

I don't really know how to describe it .. I felt perfectly content before today. I've been on here like 7263 times a day patiently waiting for the reveal, so no huge surprises were expected. But oh my damn. The promo video sealed the deal for me I think. It's inexplicable, but it has brought on some feels of desire. Yes, do very want.
Edit: OH, btw. 100% LBB 6mt! |

I don't know. There are so many competitors. Easy to get a good price on a new M3 right now. Low miles Cayman S about the same price. And then there's the Focus RS that may be a blunt instrument but fast, fun, and cheap. Even Mercedes if I don't mind giving up the 6MT.
So I just don't know. Lots of good stuff with the M2. Lots. But no surprises with this reveal and they face such stiff competition. |
