2 series sensory overload!! A good way

The 2 series lineup is going to be the enthusiasts choice. Glad to see BMW giving us the e46 again just in a different more modern package.

I'm really liking the M235i. If BMW brings out an M2 and it doesn't have Active Sound then I think that will be the fun BMW car to get for me. M235i is definitely not shabby either. Power and weight look fantastic.

Well optioned an M2 at $70K would be a bargain over an M4 at $85K.

70K might be asking a little much. Lower 60s would be much more realistic. I'm loving this little car, the tail lights are even starting to look "normal" to me. A few more years down the line when(if) the M2/2M comes out, I'll be doing what I can to get into one.

Loving the communication around the m235. They really show it as the fun car.

I won't change my 135i just yet, but I will if/when they give us an M2... For sure!

This is the one . . . the one we've all been waiting for. Finally, something actually refreshing and genuinely fun from BMW. The reality is the next best thing is the M4, but the common guy, simply can't afford an $80K car. (I assure you it will be $80K with options). This looks like a far more attainable example of what it means to have power, fun, luxury and quality at a fair price.

You have to keep in mind when someone is referring to pricing they may be from another country.
The 1M based in the US at $47,000. I'm figuring the M235 will be somewhere near that price.
M3/4 will base in the low $60,000.

More than likely, the M235 will be my next car! Love it!

Will the launch control cancel if you wait for longer than 3 seconds on the brake?

Is it safe to use it all the time?

More than likely, the revs will just drop... this is always done to prevent wear on the transmission.
