228i M-Sport With New Wheels
I took advantage of Black Friday wheel sale and bought a set of Forgestar F14 wheels for stock PSS tires.
I switched winters tire with this setup since it hasn't been very cold in DFW area and took a few snapshots to share. Wheel specs are 18x8.5 +42 for front and 18x9 +45 for rear wheels. I weighted front wheel at 19.4lb and 20.6lb for the rear which are much lighter that the stock wheels at 25.4lb front and 26.2lb rear. |

I was between these and the CF5Vs, ended up going with the CF5Vs, now I'm just waiting.. they're supposed to be here next week! Is that their "Textured Black" color? |

I'm hoping that it will be an easy color for touch up. CF5V wheel will have been my first choice if they were available in 18" size. |

Springs seem to have been causing issues with the oem struts. Maybe look into ST coilovers? They are a reasonable price point and produced by KW i believe.

That is absolutely perfect! Great job!! Spec's on suspension - doesn't seem as low as H&R Sport Springs?? |

What offsets and wheel widths did you end up with? I was thinking of going 19x8.5 et44 and 19x9 et53. I've read on the net that this setup works without rolling the fenders or scraping. I would go with 235 tires front and 255 rear.

At +45 it touches. I recommend a +42 or 43 max on the front, but if you run a tire that hangs over the edge of the wheel, theres a chance it'll rub the inner suspension component. The rear and tire setup should work great! We can get those specs with the Forgestars. Let me know if you'd be interested in a set! |
