Yikes about VMR. They usually have an up to date inventory.
Whenever I hit a bump it felt like the entire chassis wobbled. Even after 3 alignments I felt like I was literally going to die every time i hit a bump. The car would nose dive left / right and it was scary as shit. I'm also not an idiot and they were 100% installed correctly etc etc. By far the sketchiest part i've ever put on a car which is mind blowing because I used to be in the VW / stance scene and spacers were always a staple.

As of last week I re-ordered wheels from VMR. V710 gunmetal 8.5 35, 9.5 45. Naturally the fronts were in stock and rears are backordered for 3 more weeks.

There were some issues with timing, cold starts almost stalling the car, and severe boost lag early on but they helped me sort through the issues. I'm aware that since I owned my JB4 the firmware has changed entirely and I'm sure the problems are fixed. I just didn't like it. Nothing against them - great company and lightning fast customer service. I'm buying a 'fun' car this year and I wanted my m235i to be a stable / reliable daily.

M performance front splitter finally painted. I went gloss black in the middle and color matched sides. Looks OK. Probably will repaint 100% white because you can barely see it in low light.

M performance rear spoiler also got thrown on. Personally I love it, but I think I only love it because I have the m performance rear lower splitter. The black tones come in nicely from the side.

Front wheels will be here Monday, rear wheels will be here in 3 weeks -__-

I used to slam VWs on wheels that should never fit so I will always say yes. It comes down to suspension camber and tire. I never had any issues on stock camber, H&R stock tires on 15mm so Im sure you could.

Front wheels came today! Please don't mind dirty car - for some reason it decided to snow here yesterday and I had to take the car out.

Totally agree on that front splitter, I've seen a bunch with a black splitter and I think it looks awful. I think your setup now looks great

Wow that was short lived. Any issues or just lack of successes with the car? Seems like you put a lot t of money into it to turn around and sell it.

Honestly I love the car and everything about it. I live in Wiscconsin though. I am getting ready to get into a supercar next spring and I needed a more practical daily! The roads here are god awful and the poor car hated it. The suspension literally gave me headaches from all the shitty bumps and what not. I love my M235i as my first ever BMW and will never forget it! That is UNLESS it doesn't sell. If I cant get what I owe on it I am going to keep it and do a proper wideish body and nice turbo build lollolololol
