Yesterday, I fitted these full carbon fibre wing mirror trims, replacing the existing silver originals, which didn't seem to match any existing colour on the car.

Supplied by AutoID UK at £105, compared to the BMW M equivalents at £400. The first one took about 20 mins to replace and the second about 5 mins, as I was more confident. AutoID have also posted a video guide on YouTube.

Today I took my M235i to a nearby bar. It is the first well deserved meal that I have finally been able to treat her to. She ate up a good 45L of octane 93 and is full and very satisfied. At 453km on the odometer she is ready to roll again.

Got mine done for the equivalent of about 60 USD. Yes, I know you can probably DIY it, but I don't want bubbles and crap lol

Ah, you had them tinted. I'm talking about actually blackening the reflectors inside of the light housing.

Tough to decide if I like the AW / GB look. It looks great in your photos, but then again they are professionally done and look pretty filtered/processed also. If I don't do AW, I'll either do Melbourne Red or Glacier Silver. Leaning towards silver.

Recoded some options back after the recent service wiped them when software updated.

Turn off radio and navi when the door is opened
Blinker amount to 4 on half push
Disable iDrive legal disclaimer during iDrive startup
Disable legal disclaimer on PDC Camera
Change the startup animation on idrive to M logo
Enable M theme for sport display

Much better now...

I popped the hood while the windshield wipers were raised. I know I'm not supposed to do that but was trying to do several things at once and had a brain fart. The metal arms scraped some paint off edge of the hood, one wiper rubber popped off and the bare metal arm slammed into the windshield and chipped it.

Wiper assembly is OK. The hood damage isn't really visible so I'll just clear-coat it. But the windshield chips aren't repairable and now I need a new windshield.
