much better than the 3/4 series front end... headlights not connecting to the grill is best, and having a sculpted hood-to-headlight piece is better than a thin sheet hovering over the headlights!!

I am so very excited about this car. BUT....I think it looks too much like the 235. I understand its the different components and all, but we really need something to differentiate this vehicle more - as some have already mentioned, CF roof, dome, wheels, etc.

Kermit should be sipping this, alike the rest of the ///M team that developed the 1M in 2009-2010.

Looking good. I really do like the grey render. To me it looks more like BMW Individual Grey Black, but I haven't seen much of Donigton Gray. I hope one of these colors makes it into the color palette!

I am concerned regarding the rear of the car especially the wheel arches they look similar to the blistered wheel arches found on some US trucks , neither muscular or defined or does it blend in directly with the side profile.
Although I give credit to say you are on the right path but not quite there in regards to the front aerodynamics. Goes back to Tea.

I can see what Scott means with the rear arches, I know exactly the pick ups he is referring to.. So it looks like that part is due some extra detailing or defining of the arch itsself.
Sounds like the front may be even more aggressive also! |

I am ordering it in this color lime green with black wheels, I hope it has the carbon roof.

We have this for reference. Push the vent into the body so that every line aligns perfectly... That is the M2.

I can kind of make out what you are meaning, do you mean fill in the vent and create a curve flowing up from the sideskirt into the arch?
Is the VisionGT wider at the rear than the M2? Meaning we also have to narrow it down a bit? I'm guessing the curve at the top which curves back towards the front of the car will also be deleted on the M2, as it looks a bit bolt on and doesn't really "flow" for a road car. |

This is rougher than h*ll but for months I've tried to make sense of "pushing" the vents into the body. I just moved the rear quarter over to hide the vent... Best I could come up with.

If the answer of design is between the current M235i and the Vision GT car, I wonder in terms of percentage how is the design balance...
M2 = M235i (60%) + Vision GT (40%) ? M2 = M235i (70%) + Vision GT (30%) ? |
