Need help!

i just got a m235i from an auction and I'm missing the whole front. I found some places selling the entire fronts. My question is what's the difference between 228i and m235i front?? For example on some pictures I see the lower intakes have fog lights , is that a 228 or m235i or is that just an option?

Thanks for input and any pics would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone is or knows someone selling parts ( front end ) pls msg me!

Thanks

Also, how do I know if my car has front parking sensors? Do all m235i come with front parking sensors ? If not, how can I tell, is there a button inside the cabin for the sensors?
Thanks

No M235i has foglights.

To tell if you need a parking sensor bumper, there's a button that looks kinda like P))) below the sport/eco-pro buttons. You can always look on the back if you see the little circles around the rear bumper as well - those will be a dead giveaway if you need a PDC bumper or not.

Hey thanks for the response and that's what I thought after looking at pictures of m235i, no fog lights. Where are the sport/Eco-pro buttons located in the car?
The rear bumper has back up sensors, does that automatically mean that the front must have as well?

Thanks for ur help

If a M235i has rear sensors, it has/needs front ones too.

The sport/eco buttons are in the center of the car, to the left of the gear shifter.

Sensors in the rear means sensors in the front as well, yes.

When I do my last 7 digit vin check I get a code "508 park distance control (pdc)"
The vin from the car that I want to buy parts from (in Europe) also has that code and a code which I do not have "5DP park assistant"

What is that??

Thanks

Why not have a body shop give you an estimate? I'm assuming that they would cover all the necessary parts to fix?

Park assist is the self park feature where the car parallel parks itself. The front bumper has two additional sensors in it for this option close to the wheel wells (so it can do the sensing sideways for the parking). If your car does not have the park assist option, you would likely still be okay and just have a couple of extra non-working sensors in the bumper.
