"My BMW" vs "Connected" apps
As soon as I installed the new "My BMW" app, my 2018 CPO 230i no longer had road service & emergency call features active. BMW "Genius" in NJ response was to call the dealer since the app was happy to "upgrade" my connected services for a mere $50/yr which I declined.
Anyone else with late model vehicles and loss of services due to the change from the original "Connected" app to the new "My BMW" app? I know there's a basic incompatibility with cars before 2014ish due to reliance on 3G, but the idea of paying for services in a car under warranty for another 2 years is ridiculous. |
