JB4 and Driving Modes
Hey guys
Did a search and couldn't find anything on this but those that have a JB4 if you could shed some light on this that would be most helpful. Does Comfort Mode and Sport Mode still work say if you're on Map1 or Map2? |

Because its easier to modulate the throttle when its less sensitive. You're less likely to overpower when it takes more force to depress the gas pedal.

I understand the saftey view behind designing it that way but i feel like there is something else going on with it because even if i mash the throttle harder theres a distinct change in the noise the engine is making especialy on downshifts i.e. the pops and gurgles that you get in sport + go away

Comfort and Sport + make the same power, the difference is purely sound. Without MPE I don't notice a difference, activesound is the same for me with DCS off and in Sport +.

Just more throttle response then? Do you guys keep in comfort mode or sport mode with your JB4 on? |

Sport mode changes throttle response and steering sensitivity.
I drive in comfort 95% of the time, the car rides better and has just as much power. I find it easier to take off and rev match the manual in comfort, but that's just personal preference. |

With DTC is off [no nannying intervention from the cars electronics] when changing direction quickly, I've found the linear response in comfort mode works best to control the car's balance round the bends.

Thanks for the response guys
I enjoy comfort modes throttle response as well. I find the throttle in sport mode to be a bit much esp when just city driving. |
