Square Tire setup instead of staggered?

My lease is coming to an end and sadly I won't be keeping my car. I need new rims as mine are damaged from potholes and can't be fixed. I have the option to buy a set of square rims and tires. Will these work on my staggered 15 rwd 235?

Thanks all!

Depending on the width and offset, yes they will. Check in the Wheels and Tires section for more discussions about square setups other members are using.

In the US the M235i was available with 7.5"x18" wheels with 225's on all 4 wheels. As long as the wheels and tires meet the minimum requirements you should be okay. Normally they want BMW OEM wheels though.

I'd run this by the subforum w/ all the lease info, or check w/ the dealership (do a search, as there are posts w/ very detailed info about lease turn-in charges). Could be they want the car as-delivered (i.e. staggered wheels w/ hi perf tires), or could use it to hit you for extra fees. They will probably have an easier time selling it w/ all seasons on square, but get them to OK it beforehand.

All four of your rims are damaged? Usually you can find one'zies on ebay or within the forums. I'd be sure to return the car as you found it, if possible. I've never leased a BMW, but I've heard horror stories about the return process. GL

just buy a set of used OE wheels. I think typically they might want you to have original wheels on lease turn in. I am pretty sure you could score a square set of 228 or 235 wheels pretty cheap.
