'15 235i totaled...what changes in a 2019 or '20?

So my beloved 2015 m235i was hit from the front and now they are going to total it. Sad because it had a lot of M Perf parts on it, that I probably won't get recompense for. Only upside is that I now get to think about a new car.

I really like the 235, so seriously considering a 240. Did the car go through a LCI update yet? If so, what are the differences between the 2015 and a '19 or '20? From the interior photos it looks like the passenger side dash is different. What about things like the mirror caps, exhaust, rear diffuser, etc?

Trying to decide if it would be worth it to buyback the old car and strip it...

New headlights, new dash/gauges, new iDrive available. Adaptive suspension standard. Safety features standard. B58, but I'm sure you knew that. I'm sure there's more...

if you know where it's sitting, it's always worth talking to the garage / lot owner to see if he's amenable to giving you access to the car to remove any "personal items" before they send it off to the junk auction. sometimes slipping him $100 might help to retrieve any of said "personal items"
