M235 acting "weird" in cold weather
We've been having temps in the low 20s. When I put the car in reverse it sounds and feels like I'm driving on ice when I turn the wheel. There is no ice present and when the car warms up the activity/sounds stop. Anybody experience this before or any ideas?

What tires are on the car? If you have the summer Michelin Pilots on it then it will be a slippery slope at that temp.

Been having temps in single digit and teens when starting car in morning and evening - noticed a little bit of hesitation when driving in lower gears at lower speed (after a five or so stationary warm-up) .
When I had summer PSS's definately had noises from the suspension/tire's when backing up, now with all season's that noise has disappeared. |

I am experiencing the exact same thing and was going to post about it today as well. It's kind of a popping or cracking noise, only in reverse, and only when the wheel is turned.

That popping sound and the steering feeling weird while reversing is actually very common. I think most, at this point, consider it as part of the car's character.
For the me, the popping has drastically reduced after lowering my car (doesn't really happen anymore), so I always thought something was binding with the OE suspension geometry. |
