Spare Tire Kit Fitment

I have the opportunity to buy a complete OEM spare tire kit to use on my 2015 M235i. However, it came off an E90. Does anyone know if it will fit?

I might add that I'm really cheap. I'd also like to use it on my wife's 2011 528i. Does anyone know if it will fit that car?

Don't know about fitment but the shelf life of tires, including compact spares is about 6 years. No sense saving a few $ if the tire is going to shred due to rot the first time you use it. Particularly troublesome for compact spares since they operate under high pressure.
