Front splitter ground clearance?

Hi guys, interested to fit a standard front splitter to my 225d m sport and wondered if anyone who has done so already has any ground clearance issues, especially going over speed humps on local roads. I'm in the UK.

Not sure about the differentiation between US and UK speed bumps but I have an M235i with a carbon fiber front splitter and no lip. I have no problem with speed bumps but I have cracked my splitter from being too careless at 2 am on a small slope out of an In'n'Out parking lot.

Take a look in the Cosmetic and Lighting Modifications forum. Plenty of threads in there about front splitters and how much the clearance is reduced.
