I'm excited and it sounds great so far. While a lot of people would use it for a track car and would want it to be more performance oriented, I think that it being a more "affordable" option it would also bring out A LOT of people who want it just for looks. I would be one of those I personally am not a fan of big wheels and small sidewalls but it should at least look good and work having 19's with the kit. I would personally probably use 18's. I'm going back and forth with if I want to keep my M240i or not, but depending on how this kit comes out and the pricing I would probably get it if I decide to keep it. Really love widebodies! |

I don't know if anyone here has checked out the prior design wide body kit for the 2 series. You don't have to buy the whole kit ($11,000) because most of these aero pieces will work independently of each other. Front bumper and the front/rear wide body fenders should put you at around 4k. Its definitely worth checking out.
Here was the price list if anyone was curious: BMW 2 Series PD2XX Wide Body Kit $11,392.00 PD2XX Front Bumper for BMW 2-Series Coupe. $1,399 PD2XX Front Lip Spoiler for PD2XX Front Bumper. $599 PD2XX Rear Bumper for BMW 2-Series Coupe. $1,399 PD2XX Diffusor for PD2XX Rear Bumper. $1,099 PD2XX Side Skirts for PD2XX Rear Bumper. $899 PD2XX Rear Trunk Spoiler for BMW 2-Series Coupe. $599 PD2XX Fender Flares for BMW 2-Series Coupe. $2,599 PD2XX Hood for BMW 2-Series Coupe/Cabrio. $2,799 Shipping charges for the PD2XX kit with hood to most areas of the U.S. $445.50 Last edited by MrMoe99; 03-05-2018 at 12:43 PM.. |

I've looked at this before If you actually take a few minutes to look, the front and rear fender flares will still need to be adjusted and molded. Rears won't fit anywhere near flush without widened side skirts Front bumper widenings are extended out to fit the new lines of the front bumper, so those will have to be cut and re-molded without the front bumper. You're still looking at another few thousand to mold and install. Update BTW. Since I couldn't give solid interest to the company I was working with on this idea, the project was put on a stand-still for now. I'm throwing around the idea with a new company to see if this can still be a possibility.

Awesome project super excited to see how it turns out. More wide-body kits are needed, I was pretty bummed when I found out we max at about 265 and couldn't throw the rims I had on my old 350z on it (285) or the m3/4 competition wheels. I personally agree that a more subtle one like the IND may be more up my ally but I think this kit looks badass as hell and I'm sure seeing the real thing will look better than the render.

Is the OP still working on this? Thinking about trying to get a m235i in 1-2 yrs after my lease is over on the maxima. Always been a dream of mine to widebody a car and that fact that it might be affordable compared to the other kits is exciting!
