M240i on its way to the port!

I'm also waiting to receive my car.
So far, I checked that my car is off the ship and handed to VPC/VDC. After that, how do you track the status of your car? Do you do it through your SA? Or is there a site like W&W tracking page that you can check?

I don't think that there is a way to track the location of the truck while in transit. You can call BMW Genius or reach out to your SA to check the general status from VPC to the dealer:

Got my Vin yesterday. Expected delivery is the following week, but it'd be the week after that before I can take it because of customs.

Yup, it starts to get warm and takes the glue off like butter. Make sure you only use a strong fishing line to cut the old spoiler off... Use a back and forth motion and it will slice into the old tape.

when you guys went to pick up the car what else did they try to sell? I pick mine up in a few weeks and just want to pay off the drive off which I agreed too. Did anyone buy extended warranty ect?

Warranty, dent repair, extended Maintenance, tire ...stuff like that. you do not have to purchase it right away.

My ship finally made it to the port. Now the painful wait without much tracking info. I'm hoping I can take delivery some time around the 15th.

I tried one more time this week but it looks like those extra M performance bits are not available as PIA yet. I'm having the parts manager at the dealer confirm the part numbers and order them to have them installed at delivery.

Finally got the date set to pick up my car!
Arrived at my dealership on Friday but couldn't pick it up due to labor day closing DMV lol. So, it took only a week from landing @ port to dealership.

No, mine is still at the port too. With the couple accessories that need to be installed and the holiday weekend I don't expect it to be released until later this week. Hoping to take delivery some time around the 15th.

I have a 240i which just finished production on 9/3. How long did it take for your cars to get on a ship after production?

I ordered this back on June 18th; I'm starting to get restless!

Mine finished production 7/28, left the factory 7/29, got to the port 8/1 and got on a ship 8/9.
