My dealer broke my heart by sending me a photo of the new arrival.....but then advised me that despite his best efforts they would not be able to prepare the car in time for the long weekend here :-(

Alpine White, Black Dakota, Comfort Package, Visibility Package, Parking Package, Harmon Kardon, DAB radio.

also having dealer code the Auto Start Stop last mode memory function.

Can't wait - will post more pics once tints are done.

72 hours? Mine got here on a sunday. Monday afternoon they had it ready.

Wow that sucks and to add to emotional injury the pic your dealer sent, that was just more torture. Car looks great! Don't worry man you'll have it soon. I still have to wait 1 week.

They do a check to make sure the car is running properly. Dealerships call it PDI. Honestly this takes 10 minutes at most. Then they clean and wax it. 45 mins - an hour or so. I think they just had lots of work that day and didn't want to add to their work load. They figure he waited so long might as well let him wait till Monday.

They had a backlog of cars to prep but I am ok. Apparently they do inspection, road test and software set up (which alone takes 3 hrs)......then the all important cosmetic detailing,

I would much rather them do it right and the delivery to me to be perfect. My last new car was 15 years ago so a few more days ain't gonna kill me.

Looking forward to the first weekend away in Margaret River wine region in a few weeks time.

Yes the have to set it up... Remove suspension blocks and also setup nav system with "code" ...

I'm in the same boat. Mine got off the boat in Newark on Thursday/Friday, needs a couple of carbon fiber trim pieces installed at the VDC, then will be heading to me about 90 mins south. I'm expecting it Tuesday or Wednesday. Can't wait!!
