I'm a BMW fanboy, and i agree with their conclusion, but I actually think it's a poor video review. I shouldn't have to listen them talking for 6 minutes in a 9 minutes video before they even start the engine on one of the cars. If I was reading, fine, but a video review needs more action from the participants, the cars.

Dynamically is the 2 series an improvement on the 1 series? I know it's a little bigger and some prefer the new styling, but as a 3rd "fun" car with a manual transmission would you prefer a used 135i?

I've owned a Mercedes Benz GLK350 4matic for just over 2 years now and I'm very happy with it. Obviously, it is not a sports car, but it does serve the mission and intent that I purchased it for.
When I started looking for a replacement for my aging Mazda RX-8 a year ago, I considered the SLK350, among others. More recently, I considered the CLA45. It is certainly a gutsy car. In the end, I just couldn't get past the body style, particularly in the aft area:
