It's good to know I'm not the only one
I do the same thing at least once a day, searching for new 2-Series videos, the M235i in particular. I can't wait to post one of my own. YouTube is lacking owner posted 2-Series videos. I bet we're not the only ones looking for new 2 videos while anticipating arrival of our 2's

I've come to call it mandatory waiting room viewing material. The more I watch and read about the M235i, the more I feel having made the right decision in acquiring one.

That would be great! If owners put up their own reviews. We can cover the various specs such as ZF8. 6MT, M Performance Limited Slip Differential, etc. I will in time (ample seat time that is).

Okay you guys know that when I joined this forum I originally ordered an Alpine White 228i M-Sport Track Package. I found myself searching YouTube DAILY for 228i reviews or any videos relating to the 228i. I found only a few While searching for 228i video's, all I came across were these M235i reviews and video's. Totally not fair! Making matters worse, every M235i reviewer made special mention of the stock exhaust note and how wonderfully impressive it is while demonstrating it, joyfully I might add. In all honesty these video's helped in making my decision to cancel the 228i and order the M235i. There's one M235i video review in particular that sealed my fate. After seeing Motor Trend's Carlos Lago review the M235i in Ignition Episode #106, my mind was made up! Not to mention my perceived difference in price also played a major role. The difference in price between the two models in the manner I had them both individually optioned was less than $2,000.00. The epitome of a "no-brainer". I had already agreed to purchase the 228i M-Sport at $1,000.00 over dealers invoice plus FREE window tint. For less than 2 grand more I could have a Glacier Silver M235i instead. But there was a catch. The differnce in price was my theory. The dealer would have to be willing to sell me an M235i at dealers invoice plus my aforementioned FREE window tint for my plan to work. LOL, Just kidding. I wasn't really concerned about the FREE window tint, I just wanted an M235i at dealers invoice. But it didn't hurt to ask for the window tint since we already discussed it on the 228i. Well, HE DID! Not only that, he recently did the same type of dealers invoice price for a fellow 2addict member I recenlty befriended here. He ordered his car last week. If your in the Houston area and interested with help in buying a new 2-Series, I'd be glad to help. Send a PM I'll get you in contact with my dealer. Please keep in mind that I've driven several 228i's and have spent plenty of time behind the wheel of 228i's. I even spent some track time in a 228i M-Sport Track Package. I've only driven an M235i once. I spent a total of 5 minutes behind the wheel of one. I drove it down a busy freeway service road and back up, max speed driven was 45-50 MPH. I really haven't driven an M235i and have no idea how the car actually feels or drives. I DID NOT experience the power in the least. It was a casual 5 minute drive. I'm excited that my first time really driving an M235i will be the 110 mile drive home from the dealer on the day I take delivery. I digress As previously stated and previously quoted, I look forward to posting my own M235i video on YouTube.

Ordered mine in October 2014, so needless to say I've been waiting a while. Car came in today finally, but won't be picking it up for another 3-4 weeks if you can believe it. Will be putting up another thread once I pick it up.
I do know the feeling of waiting though, seen every review there is |

Thanks for taking the time and sharing a very important DIY mod. It's actually a better system over the OEM Driver's Assistance Package. I for one will surely add that mod in our M235i. BTW, the front facing camera would be great for autocross filming and can be used as a training aid.

You taking delivery of Godzilla was in spectacular fashion!
I know where discussing the BMW M235i but I must say that your video of you taking delivery of that Nissan GTR is sensational! An awesome video! That had to be a truly unforgettable experience! And that first drive home? WOW!
Now that you've had time to live with the M235i, how much do you miss the GTR? I refuse to ask, how do the two cars compare, your BMW M235i vs the Nissan GTR. But I am curious, how does it feel not getting mobbed with all that crazy attention the Nissan GTR surely attracted every time you drove it? Even now when I see a Nissan GTR , I'm
