Vinyl body wrap

Considering trying a matte black vinyl wrap over my Alpine White 240. Has anyone had a wrap installed?

I have a wrap on my roof (matte black), but not a full body wrap. I love the color of my car, but I always thought a matte chrome red or even a dark yellow would be cool on the 2 series.

Yeah i've seen some metallics that change color when moving around the car in different lighting but those are around 6 grand. Agree that the mattes are common, but i've not seen a matte white hmmmmm......

I have seen some wraps that look REALLY sharp! I asked people here where I live and a full car wrap is about 4k. I decided against it at that point haha. All I am getting now is just front protection for rock chips.

I didn't experience it yet. But I will ask help from ********** because I'm planning to wrap mine too. If you want, you can ask them too about your concerns.

I knew a guy once that had a matte / semi gloss crossbreed paint job on his 3 series that looked incredible but it was a pain to keep clean and since there's no clear coat it was a huge pain with daily driving wear and tear up...

...With that said, everyone always asked him if it was a wrap, because wraps have never turned out that good. How quickly those grins turned into frowns.

Don't wrap your car. Especially when you got (my favorite) BMW branded color of AW.

For quality vinyl wraps, you may contact Gatorprints. They wrap all kinds of crazy things and lettering decals.

If you get this going soon enough, you can turn your car from white to black just in time for the nice Georgia summers!

They don't sell flat black primer at your local Walmart? If you are going for that mean look, you should do it old school.

I have wrapped a car before with my buddy. We did his g35 in metallic blue.

It ended up coming out very well and still looked pretty good when he sold it 2 years later.

Cost $600 in wrap and about 50-60 hours with the two of us

Lol agreed. If you are skilled at doing things, and have a friend that is generally skilled at doing things, and 40 free hours then just make sure you buy enough to cover two cars haha.
