I'm in need of some HELP!

I got my m235i onto a lift for the first time after purchasing it, and noticed the tranmission pan was covered in oil as shown in the picture.



My initial reaction was that it was from the transmission sump, and as it was hitting the 50k marker is was time to do a transmission oil change anyway, so had the oil/pan etc changed thinking it would sort itself out. 6 months later, I got a look under the car, and it's almost identical to how it previously looked, with the sump pan covered in oil.

Any ideas what it could be what else it could be?

ZF8 transmission oil is apparently green. That's motor oil. Peel back some plastic and check your oil pan, then check your valve cover and oil filter housing on top.
