3.5" BMS tips on MP exhaust and MP diffuser

I have gotten a few questions about how I mounted the BMS slip-fit tips on my MP exhaust even though BMS says they don't fit. The reality is they do fit, they just fit a lot tighter than the OEM slip-fit tips. The prongs on the BMS tips need to be flattened slightly and then slowly worked on, making sure all the prongs are biting. It takes some muscle and patience, but they'll go on. I was able to mount them in about 10 minutes.

Here's a pic of the tips with my MP diffuser.

Interesting. Simple enough and really cleans up the back end.It might just be worth a try.

Thanks for sharing. I wasn't able to get the clips to bite when I tried awhile back, must've been my technique. In the end, I was able to pull them off without much effort so they were definitely not secured for me. Looks like they stick out just enough for the diffuser. Looks good.
