So, 15mm is the new sweet spot for the OEM 18's?

I have a complete set of 15mm from BMS (burger), if anyone is interested.
They are brand new, never installed. I bought them, but then jumped on VMRs sale and moved up to 19s so I have no use for them now. |

Reviving this post, what's your experience with 12mm all around? Any issues ? Vibration at high speeds? Abnormal wear of the wheel bearings ???
I want to install spacers in my M240i with 19' M Performance Wheels with stock suspension and stock brakes. I want a sutil improvement in the stance since those M Performance Wheels are everything but concave (pretty straight). BMS recommended me 10mm front and 12mm rear... What do you think ? Thanks. |

You could do 10 and 12. You will barely notice any difference between 10 and 12 Either one should work |

I haven't added spacers to my M235, but I did add new wheels 18X8 all around vs the stock 18X7.5 and 18X8 setup. The new wheels have 10mm more offset so it's just like running 10mm spacers. What I've noticed is that the car are much more sensitive to tramlining from ruts in the road. Overall, if the road has ruts or is bumpy, the car can be more of a handful as the suspension, especially the rear, has far more tendency to steer itself. It's proof of just how design BMW considers in their suspension and how operating the suspension outside of the designed parameters can have negative consequences. Keep this in mind when running spacers.

Spacer & Spring Config
2017 M240i with stock wheels and tires running BMS 12mm front and 18mm rear. Lowered on H&R springs. No rubbing--but have yet to stick a 200lb weight in the trunk or carry passengers in the back seat Did load the back with two full suitcases and had no issues.
