I believe you can order it either way...Staggered Summer Tires or All Season (No Season I call em) tires squared.

My 2015 M235xi came with squared 18" Pirelli Cinturato All Season Run Flats...They're sitting in my garage in storage until they are sold or I return at lease end.
My vehicle was in stock and was ordered that way by the dealer. I'm running square 18" Blizzak LM60 for the Winter and currently figuring out what set of staggered wheels/tires for Spring.

Yes. A "square" setup means the same size tire on all four corners. But that has nothing to do with whether they are rft and/or performance.

All the run flats are square from the factory.

So even the xdrive have staggered tires (and wheels) if you pick the summer tire? I figured it was square regardless because that tends to be the norm on AWD. Good to know.

The XDrive is not as "touchy" as the Suby AWD or Audi Quattro etc. As long as you keep the rolling diameter (F+R) within an appropriate range, there should be no issues whatsoever.

The staggered summer tires, which I believe are Michellin Pilot Super Sports, are not run flats. BMW includes the mobility kit with these tires.
