To the owner m235i on m310 wheels, would you please post a picture from the side? Those are the wheels I'm leaning towards to right now. The m359 look prefect for the car but they'll rub, I'd also like to know if we use both front and rear 18x8 on stock tires, will it rub?

I'd recommend taking a look at the thread here for photos of the 18" M310s installed on a M235.

Heres a side shot

You wont have any issues using the 18x8 +35 fitment all around with stock tires!

Looks nice, but I do honestly love the stock wheels that came with my 235. Like the slate gray look

The customer wanted to reuse his OEM tires which are 225/40/18 in front. If we were getting a new set of tires for the car, we would have gotten him 235/40/18s which fit square.
Could this 18x8.5 square setup fit 245s all around without issues? Instead of the 235/40/18 you suggested?

Its possible, but it would be tight.
At stock its very possible, but with a drop it would be right on the limit and may rub depending on the tire you go with.

Would I be able to get away with 245/40/18 all around with stock suspension?
Or maybe 245/35/18?

Its possible with the 245/35/18s, the 245/40/18 will likely rub.
Just be aware a fender roll may be needed in a worst case scenario

Thank you, I may give 245/35/18 a shot. If it does rub, it would be more in the front right?

Thats correct, the rear has slightly more room than the fronts. Good luck and let us know how it works out!

Recently finished up a local install of M359s on a E46 M3!

Before: M6 Style wheels

After: M359 19x9 19x10 setup in Hyper Silver
Huge improvement!

The E46 M3 is still my favorite generation, the the M6 style wheels were getting a little beat up and dated. These M359s definitely did a great job updating the look of the entire car!

The customer went with 18x8.5" M359s all around in the standard Hyper Silver finish since the 18x9.5 are unfortunately too aggressive for the rear.
He chose to re-use his OEM tires for this setup.

Overall, perfect flush fitment and no rubbing on OEM suspension!
This will also accommodate a standard drop as well.

The M359 are available in Hyper Silver and Matte Black.

I think I might buy the M359 18x8.5 with 235/40/R18 square set up for the track.

Car is stock height. I would love to squeeze 245/40/R18 on there though.

What do these wheels weigh?

I can help you out with that! The 18x8.5 M359s weigh about 22.8 lbs

I'll send you a PM with details!

Would you be able to run the M359's in an 18x8.5 in the rear and an 18x8 in the front with H&R sport springs and stock tires?

Its only possible to fit the 18x8.5 M359s on the F22, there is no 18x8 available to build a staggered setup unfortunately.

Let me know if you'd be interested in an 18x8.5 square setup.

For staggered, I'd recommend the AG M310 in 18x8 18x9
Or the Beyern Spartans in 18x8.5/9.5

Got some great shots of the Matte Black AG M359s installed on our customers's M235 convertible!
We did an 18x8.5 square setup wrapped with 235 Michelin PSS all around!

Avant Garde M359's in Matte Black - 18x8.5" custom machined to +ET38 - 235/40/18 PSS tires (I stayed square to allow easier replacement incase a pothole takes one out and to allow me to rotate them).

The fit is great, the spacing and meatier tire fill out the wheel well nicely on the stock suspension and the tire improvement is massive over the stock all seasons.

Enjoy!
