Calling On All Drag Racers!
I have done extensive searching and can't seem to find the exact answer I'm looking for... So I would like a few people to give me their answers and opinions on what works best for them or just what would work best in general for me... So on to the question. For drag racing, whether it would be on the back roads, or the 1/4 mile drag strip, which driving mode is better to use, Sport, Sport Plus, or DSC/DTC completely off (5 second press of the traction button). Which mode gives you the best acceleration, time and gives you a better chance for that win in the race?

And here I thought selecting the R on the shifter was for Racing.

Sport+ produces a near perfect launch every time by limiting wheel-spin.
DSC OFF will allow you to smoke your tires off if you wanted to. Use DSC OFF to hone your skills to not rely on the car. Drag racing is mostly a drivers race.. so I'd assume you'd want the results to show as such. |
