Number of M235i's in the US
Anybody have any idea on the number of M235i's currently on the road in the US? Bored at work and was just curious, considering how difficult it seems to get one.

There are 339 BMW dealers in the US. Probably only 1 car per month per dealer.
Anybody know when they started US deliveries? Regardless...its probably around 2000-2500 cars? My guess. |

I read somewhere that deliveries began in March, so your guesstimate looks pretty good.

Except I think its more than 1 car a month. close to 2 or 3 if you average a smaller and larger dealership's sales.

For July 2014 YTD of 1/2 series 3906 cars were sold in the US. Assuming nobody sells 1 series anymore for the first few months and assuming 50% of the sales were 228i and 50% were m235i (most likely a lot more m235i than 228i) then there's probably around 2000 on the roads. |
