Hey guys, just got my m235 back last week after the rear end accident in April. Over the 3 months she was away I had some parts just waiting to be put on.

Things I added,

Carbon fiber mirrors
Black grille
M performance skirt decals
Paint matched front and rear reflectors
White LED front turn signals
AFE intake
Jb stage 1 tune
Remus axle back exhaust
M6 paddle shifters

Note: I am aware that the left exhaust tip is not even with the right, I will fix the clamp when I have time.

How do like the addition of the engine mods? I too was running the N55 Stage 1, aFe Momentum, and performance muffler.

No you have to remove the current shifters then take out the modules in each one and put them in the m6 shifters otherwise the m6 paddles will not work properly

How do you like the stage one. I'm considering it does it change the linear power delivery of the stock system or does it just give you more meat all the way through the rep range?

I like it a lot. It seems to have more power throughout the rev range and is great for the price and not having to splice wires and such. Although when I get the car out of winter storage I'll be swapping out the stage 1 for the ESS tune. Numbers seem pretty promising!

I've been looking at LED for the front turn signals, but I haven't been able to figure out which, if any, will work without intermittent blinking caused by the automatic bulb check every 4 minutes 30 seconds (from what I remember reading). And the blinking at start up.

What LEDs did you get, and do you notice any error codes, blinking, or any other issues?

Thanks!

JB

They did blink at first, you have to code the car and disable the corner light cold weather test I think it was called. After that no more blinking.

Thanks - that's great information to know. What brand LEDs did you use, and are you happy with the brightness?

Thanks!

These are what I got

http://www.bimmian.com/WTS

very happy with the brightness, although they are expensive I think its worth it because they match the headlights perfectly, I've had cheap LED signal bulbs that look completely different from the xenon headlights and they look horrible.

Thanks! I ordered some stealth bulbs, but I think I'd prefer the LEDs.

What color are your turn signals now? How do you like your AFE intake? Happy with it?

Same from me - thoughts on the increased performance and sound from the AfE? Looks like it might be a little quieter than the BMS.

Do you have a DIY on the M6 paddles? This sounds like a sweet mod! How much are they?
