WTF is up with the new Audi commercial? It shows an Audi driver slowing down for everything including a bus stop puddle...then along comes a BMW driver and rips thru it soaking the patrons.....

This on the heals of the "BMW owners are pricks" tabloids. Always thought that was another maker

Bmws are stereotype as the azzhole drivers so everyone is taking the advantage to put down the brand. We can do our part by doing random acts of kindness on the roads to change that image....not!!

This sounds very different as it's more making themselves feel better by just insisting bmw drivers without actually promoting their own cars for any reason.

Pretty tasteless imo. It does bring me to think of the "your move" billboards though...

I cannot even describe how differently I am treated driving the Cayman than I was with the BMW. Even when driving extremely courteously in the BMWs, other drivers would make every effort to make life miserable. This doesn't happen in the Porsche, there's a much higher level of deference.

I've only been driving my BMW for 3 and a half months now, but I have yet to detect "Stink Eye" from anyone. On the contrary, I do see a lot of folks checking out my car.

Over here in the UK it's definitely Audi drivers that are regarded as dicks, but no doubt that’s another stereotype, and I've yet to have any problems driving a BMW since I've had one

I did my part as nice BMW driver today, let a driver merge in front of me when he realized he was in the wrong lane and was going to miss his exit. Could have been your typical "dick" and blew pass and make him wait. He gave me a nice wave in the mirror and return one back.

Once we have finished our merge on the new road, I was gone in a flash

Lol not gonna lie, I always thought this stereotype rang true... I hated generally most BMW drivers on the road. But I mean, I also thought that of other types of drivers, too, like big truck drivers. In that sense (and only in that sense), did I feel like a sell-out when I ordered my BMW.

BMW drivers are probably better drivers than most others on the road, so to Joe public we seem like assholes because have a lower tolerance for shitty driving.
