Cutting rear diffuser?

Anyone have insight on cutting their rear diffuser? And, how would you go about doing this? Currently, trying to retrofit the m2 exhaust on my 230i

Probably easier to just buy a 235/240 rear diffuser.

If you’re set on cutting it, I’d ask someone for the location of the right hole on a 235/240 diffuser and just use a dremel

A Dremel tool is probably the best solution and then have a back-up plan of purchasing an M2 diffuser, if it even fits a 230/240, to replace the diffuser you just hacked up. Just curious, what do you hope to accomplish by adding an M2 exhaust to a 230? Just because an average middle age rec. basketball player could wear a pair of Air Jordan's or whatever the NBA guys wear today - doesn't mean he could do what Jordan did. (Yes, I am old and not a huge NBA fan.) Good luck with your mod.

Looking for some good sound. And honestly, thought it be a good first DIY mod. Plus, looks pretty good IMO
