What knick-knacks came w/ your 2-series?

Since I got a demo car, I wanted to know if I missed anything:

- I got the owner's manual leather-ish holder, of course, with the manual, warranty booklet, ref guide, etc.
- I got a net that I put at the back in the trunk
- the trunk also has on the right side a vertical net
- under the trunk surface, there's just a tiny little folded tool container that has... just a tow hook

Parts I wondered if I'm missing:
- cup holder inserts, do people get any w the car at all?
- trunk - on the left is an indentation for something? also on the right, in that cubby, empty?
- no tools beyond the tow hook?

anything else I might be missing that is easy to be missing if it isn't attached to the car somehow?

Thanks!

I got cup holder inserts.
Nothing to the left in the trunk, to the right I had some little doodads for affixing my carpets to the car carpet.
I have an air compressor and some other things underneath the trunk liner next to the battery.

The cup inserts went away for 2015 (at least in the US).
No umbrella or wheel locks for me, either.

I had a screw driver in the tool (singular) kit. The tow hook was too big for the kit, but was in the trunk.
The right side netting plus floor netting (in a bag in the right side cubby).
The compressor since I don't have run-flats.
The front plate holder (not used).

BMW stopped giving out the cup holder inserts with 2015 models. (I bought my own; they only run about $13 each, and they're very high quality) It's rumored that it's been packaging a 12V USB Charger in the trunk, but many are taken out either at port or at the dealer ...

... all I received was the manual packet, the trunk nets, the front plate holder, and the tool kit (I had a couple of drivers in addition to the tow hook). Would've dug the umbrella ...

Basic toolkit, net, compressor pump, warning triangle, locking wheel nut 'thingie', tow hook.

In the car, all the books and docs etc in a faux leather cover, leather M-sport key cover from the dealer, cup holder trays and a cover for the phone connection not the adaptor, which IMO is unnecessary.

You'll still need to buy a snap-in adapter around at $250 if you want to use that cradle...unless they threw one of those in too!

I made the cup holder inserts a condition of my purchase for my MY2015.

I also received a flash drive shaped like the keyless entry remote in the mail.

Just about nothing. However, my CA correctly guessed that I probably didn't want the front tags put on (MD is a front tag state) so he left it off, much to my pleasant surprise. I love the clean look.

I got the umbrella and flash drive comes in the mail a few weeks after you buy the car. I have a cup holder insert in the back (vert) but not the front. No USB charger as far as I can tell unless it's hiding in my trunk.

Tow hook and I think they included a screwdriver? I actually haven't seen the cargo net but I need to double check the trunk I haven't properly cleaned it out since I bought the car, it might be sitting under the packaging for the air blocker (vert).

What do you mean by a cup holder insert in the back? Do you mean in that little storage area between the two rear seats? Because that's one of my issues right now (I have a kid at the back)... no cup holder back there.

Before you jump on me, no, no food or drinks allowed in my car, but water is ok.

Yup - I have a plastic tray that holds 2 cups that fits into the slot in the back.

2-series 'verts (F23) come standard with a cupholder that inserts into a tray; coupes (F22) come standard with just a tray. I don't think anyone's done a retrofit, but realoem.com indicates that the parts are not interchangeable.

That would make sense, as the cup holder insert would need some method of being secured into the open tray slot in the back seat. As far as I can tell, there are no tabs or slots in the tray on my 14 M235 coupe, so I doubt it would be very secure holding drinks as it "free floated" in the tray.

I actually broke the latch the very first time I pushed it in. I pushed it to try and pull it out and the latch got stuck open. It stays in pretty securely, I've never had it fly out even when I've been hooning the car around.
