What are you all doing to hang your shirts/coats in your 2 series? WTF hanger hook?

I'm always hanging business shirts in the back of my car, and had no issues with my 3 series.

The mini-hook seems virtually worthless for hanging clothes in my 2 series.

What are you all using to hang your clothes in the car? Headrest support poles?

I can't fathom spending $115 to get one of these (though I do have a $500 accessories credit):

Or you can get the universal hook and use a standard hanger on it. It's super useful for carrying takeout and women's purses too.

This is one of those useless hunks of plastic it's crazy to pay $115 for. Where's a 3D printer when you need one.

Using the tow hook works pretty well. Just maintain a good enough speed and you'll have no worries

Yeah that little hook is useless so I bought that BMW hanger system (discounted) which works great. I can always lay my coat flat along the back seat since I can't fit any one back there anyway

I commented about this on a different forum, but most didn't seem to care. It's practically a useless hook, as after one corner, my jacket, on its hanger, falls off. I don't really want to use the BMW add-on for that price, and frankly don't want to use the Amazon option (except as last resort). This is something BMW should address; I'm only asking for 1-2 mm longer to make it useful, so it's not a cost thing for them.

I end up hanging my shirts and jackets on the rear headrest support. It did seem odd to me that there was nowhere to hang a shirt on this car but not really a deal breaker had I noticed before I purchased.

Reviving from the dead... I hate this!!! I drive in my workout gear and then change later, so always have suit/shirt with me and was originally hanging it from the passenger seat head restraint support bar, but it wasn’t really ‘high’ enough.

What I now do is open the sunroof visor and hang them from the sunroof rail there, and it hovers right in front of the passenger seat. Hopefully I don’t mess up the sunroof rail...

I bent a piece of heavy wire into a sort of 5" V then wrapped the ends around the passenger headrest supports. Sturdy enough to hang a suit jacket from.

But I really like the tow hook idea

I've only just realised there's a rear to my car. I've never had the need to look beyond the drivers seat.

Hahaha well I got this car specifically for the backseat - I have a 3 year old and do pickup duties from daycare, so needed it to be big enough for a car seat.

For a daily, I don’t think I could have done better for the money.

If it won't fold, lay it flat in the trunk. Use a garment bag if necessary. Everything I wear these days folds, so if I'm going on a trip, it all goes into my travel bag.

I use one of those metal hangars you get after dry-cleaning: bend the hook back about 80°. You can then hook it 'round one of the pins of the rear headrest. The item will then hang flat against the rear seat back. You may need to raise the headrest slightly to make it easier to hook the hanger on the vertical pin.
