Low Tire Pressure Mode Lockout

So interestingly enough it's currently like between 40-50 degrees here in Florida so yesterday my car started showing low tire pressure for all my tires and then I noticed I had lost the ability to change driving modes. So now I'm locked to comfort I would imagine until I refill the tires a bit. Anyone else experience this.

Yes, this is quite common.. air up accordingly and you'll be fine.

This is why the Canadian version doesn't use in wheel TPMS. Instead the Audi like "indirect method" that uses tire rotation speed and computer tables that estimate tire pressure loss. You don't get the typical pressure loss signal light like the "in the wheel" system does when temps fall hard. My Honda was horrible when the temps change 30 degrees or more when cooler overnight even though the real pressure was okay.

This just happened to me the other day. Once I filled up and reset the TPMS, everything was back to normal.

Was it imported from a US dealer? We should have only the Flat Tire Monitor (FTM).

This actually happened to me on the drive home after taking delivery of my car. Added air and all was fine. My pressure has dropped in the past few days as the temps have plummeted here in NY. Somehow I haven't had the issue yet. It's an annoyance...

No, mine is a Canadian car.

Have my winters on right now. If it was FTM it would reset instead of the light being on constantly. I wonder if it has to do with initial tire choice, mine came with RFT not PSS.

I had to manually reset the FTM after installing the winter wheels a couple of days ago. The pressure was fine. My PSS and the winter tires are both non-rft.
