I have a Garmin GPS with a dash cam. It sits on the dash. Right behind control display. Right now I'm just using it for the dash cam and the speed limit. It doesn't appear to take up as much windshield space.

I followed mostly this DIY http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1220468 but I did not remove all of the panels. I like that it is connected directly to the FEM body so it is no triggering any errors. |

Tracking the car is fun man. I live in Charleston, so I was able to see the boat after it pulled into the port. It was on Valentine's day and also the coldest day of the year. My kids were miserable lol. They were fine after we stopped by the candy store though.

I bought, but there are a good number of people that lease and then put the aftermarket parts up for sale in the classifieds after they put the stock parts back on when the lease ends.

Xpel...
So, on my very first non-commuting drive, picked up a dozen or two gravel chips... Whilst driving 50mph and not following anything. Thus, paint protection film = priority number 1.
Took the car to TCT Wraps in Hillsboro (lots of positive reviews from the Tesla forums). They use Xpel Ultimate, and don't use pre-cut film. I know there are pluses and minuses to both pre-cut and cut-on-car, but I'm happy with the results. The edges that they couldn't wrap around are so clean - surgically precise. Just an example: Ended up doing full hood + fenders; perhaps that's overkill, but I knew the partial lines would annoy me... |

Cleaned all the brake dust off the wheels and sidewalls of the tires. They were almost black with all the brake dust from 60 minutes of track driving last Thursday. Had a blast. I just took the car in for it's scheduled oil change last Monday and they measured the brake pads. Lets see what they read when I take it back in the next time around. I'm almost to 33K on the OD now too. Instead of my normal 400 plus miles per tank I got a grand total of 160 out of a full tank with 32 miles left to empty. LOL.
