Looking good man, the decals really contrast well with the white.

Also power washed my undercarriage and de-greased everything before storage last fall. Almost a full day of scrubbing, etc but well worth it! I even went as far as aluminum cleaner and abrasive pad on the rotor hats, lol (ocd, much?).

Got a new windshield installed because I got a huge crack. Needed to be done soon anyway after being ravaged by highway debris for 50k miles.

Removed my corroded exhaust tips; cleaned them up; sanded them down; and sprayed with ultra-high-temp matt black engine paint ($10/can). Not claiming they look great but a load better than the corroded state they were in. And in some ways, they look understated ....

I'm looking at alternatives but for the moment, these'll do, and I may just end up leaving them as they are if they prove OK in the long term. And looking at the lower picture, I did wonder what they'd look like in red, to match the tail lights and reflectors ......

Got Shockware installed today. Car feels great! The floatiness from the stock dampers (even in sport mode) is now gone and the car rides much stiffer like a real sports coupe should.

Si did a whole price quote in paint protection but I ended up with Vancouver clear bra. Jurgen is very thorough and works on the weekends which is great because I can't leave my car during the weekdays.

Prices are all comparable. Protex wasnt able to take me until may 8 and the 3 rd authorised dealer did weekdays.

I called Xpel to ask about the 3 installers so they are all pretty good except Protex has a hoist. The first two do a lifetime warranty as well.

I picked up my car at 11pm and have to go back later as he needs about 20-30 mins to get some bubbles out.

Took my M235i Convertible in for a service and took a look at a 4 Series convertible in the showroom, and wow! there is almost no space left in the trunk when the metal roof is folded down (perhaps an attaché case and a coat, but not much more). The 2 Series 'vert soft top leaves enough space for a couple of suitcases, plus more, even when down. And the similar spec' 4 costs about 33% more, although there are more options available on the 4 e.g. HUD. I'd read comments about the hard tops consuming a lot of boot space but I didn't realise that they were quite so greedy!
