M235i Mags

Hi,
i wonder if any of you knew where to find those wheels online or on tirerack i been trying to search for them?


Also my other questions i want to buy mags for winter and the guy at the store told me that M6 replicas was the way to go?
are they good? any thoughts on them?

Those are authentic BMW 405 style wheels. You can buy em from ur dealer or on these forums in the commercial classifieds.

Those are the M-Performance wheels and are on the BMWUSA website under accessories. Not sure about Canada though.

They are available in Canada as well. I have them on mine but I think they only came on the M Performance editions in Canada that were apparently limited to only 50 units.

"Mags". Hilarious. I haven't seen or heard that term in years!

(FYI: "Mags" properly refers to magnesium alloy wheels, which were first made in the 1930s for racing use and were most prevalent on 1950s and 1960s muscle cars. Almost no wheels are made with the alloy now for two reasons: they corrode easily, and they're mildly flammable!)

anyone tried them before? are they good ? do they shake at high speed?
hows the quality ?

You're gonna need to be more specific about what you mean by "M6 replicas". Several companies make them.

I think it's a French thing nowadays. I've mainly that term from Francophones.

That still doesn't help too much.

If it's for winter only I think it would be fine. But I would never put replica rims (specially from unknown brand) during summer when I can have OEM BMW rims installed.
