Replace LCD panel in the M235

Does anyone know if you can replace the LCD panel in the M235 with the larger version without getting the Tech Package? Would this be a bad idea? The only reason I'd go with the Tech Package is to get the larger high dev screen.......the regular screen looks so 1990's.

Not 100% sure if it works but it take 5 minutes to do the swap...if you can find a place that let you have full refund (if its not compatiable) why not try it

From what i have learned i don't think you can. Its a totaly different computer for the tech pkg screen. I think even if you can swap it you won't get the extended screen as the non tech computer doesn't know how to use the larger screen.

People have try it but failed, the harness need to be change along with the monitor, computer, the cd player to DVD player etc.

It is better to order the right car and it would cost over $2100 just to do the retro and programming. Not worth it.
