Finally a Full Car Detail!
First off, I wish I would have taken before shots, completely forgot.
In a nut shell, there was little to no swirl marks to begin with and it looked shiny with a regular wash. To the touch however, it was a tad dull. At first i thought it didn't really need a full detail, but i had a full free day and full of energy. So I figured it's time for a proper waxing detail (before the summer heat wave arrives) *Also waxed the carbon fiber bits too, i've heard stories Washed car, parked it in garage, light clay-bar, polish, then finish off with some Turtle Wax paste. Took the entire day, but when i drove it out to the sun; my gosh, I had no idea my cars (or any car for that matter) paint can look so vibrant, slick, and glossy. Extremely smooth to the touch as well. Now i don't even want to drive it haha. (It's my DD and it's suppose to rain all week...aghh..oh well, let the "beading" begin). Took some up-close pics. Never realized the little sparkle flakes in the paint. I also never realized the few rock chips on the car...agghh, oh well *In some pics it may seem that there is left over wax or scuff on the paint, but i can assure you it's just the mirror like reflection of the clouds above. |

Looks Great. I just did Mine on Saturday.
Like what you did with the rear diffuser. Needs more low :P Great pics tho. Crystal Clear. Did you do it by hand or use a PC? |

Elbow grease (needless to say I was sore the next day) Only time use a machine is to buff out swirls or scuffs, didn't really see any on this car, so I didn't bother. (I use to own two black cars, those were a pain!!) Ha-ha technically I was only going to do the carbon fiber parts, next thing I know I was waxing the whole darn vehicle |

Looks nice! I did the same to my car last Thursday night/Friday morning (washed on Thursday, clay and wax on Friday). I also didn't want to drive it, but ended up driving it yesterday in a bunch of rain. It beaded up great, which was cool to see, but my wheels now need to be redone. Such is life.

Looks awesome! With DDs it's all about finding that solid combination of a great shine and durability.
I used to like Klasse SG but my newest favorite is Collinite 845, it goes on so easy and has provided great long-term protection so far. Enjoy the shiny car! Our 2s have some great angles |

Looking good. Turtle Wax...is one arm bigger than the other now? That sh*t is like cement when it dries.
